Features of Mercury

Mercury’s features are lots of craters, and rock. Craters are formed by an asteroid the surface. The asteroid gets smaller each time it runs into Mercury, and then the asteroid turns into craters. Mercury is the smallest planet in the solar system, 4,878 km. The core is pretty much the whole planet with a very thin crust. Mercury is the second coldest planet (-880). Mercury also is the second hottest planet (900). Those are the features of Mercury.

One way to find out if there is life on other planets is to compare it to Earth. This will tell you if life could exist on Mercury. Some similarities are that they are both rock planets which means they are both made with a solid surface. They both revolve around the Sun. Everything in space moves. Some differences are that Mercury has no atmosphere that means no oxygen. It also has no food or water. So no way could there be life on Mercury.

So no way could there be life on Mercury. Cross it off your list!
