Our closest neighbor in space

The moon is 239,000 miles away from the Sun. Earth’s closest neighbor is the Moon. The moon travels around Earth every 27.3 days. Our moon is the second brightest object in the sky. But the moon has no light! There is less gravity on the Moon than on Earth. You would be able to jump over your house if the gravity on Earth was as low as on the moon! The Earth travels in a big circle around the in taking a whole year to orbit.

Is there life in our soalr system?
