Earth

There's No Place Like Home

The Earth is called the blue planet because it is mostly made of water. It is 93 million miles from the sun. The Earth is 5th biggest in our solar system. Earth has one moon. It takes 365 days (1 year) to orbit the sun. It takes 24 hours (23 hours 56 minutes) to spin around its axis. It is an inner planet. It is one of the 4 rock planets in our solar system. Earth is about the same size as Venus.  Earth is the planet with the most water. It is the only planet that has liquid water. Earth has all we need to live: water, air, oxygen, and atmosphere. It is the only planet to be known to have life.

Other planets might be too hot or too cold, too dry or spin too fast... but Earth is JUST RIGHT!

Is there life in our soalr system?
